ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police are investigating a possible armed robbery that sent two men to the hospital with stab wounds.
It happened late Sunday at the Central Mobile Home Village in the 1500 block of Chattahoochee Avenue in northwest Atlanta.
A police spokesperson said the two victims were found at the mobile home park, but claimed they were stabbed near Marietta Boulevard and Bolton Drive. Investigators found no blood or other evidence of a stabbing at the second location.
One of the victims was stabbed in the ribs, while the other was stabbed in the stomach and ribs. Both men were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital; their conditions were not immediately known.
Police are now searching for four suspects, described only as men wearing black clothes. They reportedly ran from the area after stabbing the victims. Investigators believe robbery was the motive.
