Car break-ins reported at senior citizens' home

ATLANTA -- About a dozen cars were broken into at a senior housing complex in northwest Atlanta Friday morning.

The break-ins happened at around 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Berean Village on Westview Place SW.

Witnesses said the break-in suspects also drove a U-Haul into the building's front porch area.

No one was hurt, but a number of residents' cars had their windows smashed. Nobody has been arrested.

One resident said cars have been stolen from the home's parking lot in the past.
